All BMC Outpatient Pharmacies, located in the Doctors Office Building (DOB), and Shapiro and Yawkey Centers, will be closed Friday, July 3, for the holiday. The pharmacies will reopen on Saturday, July 4, for normal operations.

Gift Shop Closed for Construction
Please be aware that the BMC Gift Shop, located in the Menino Lobby, is closed for construction. It will re-open in fall, 2015.

Teen Drinking Countered by Laws that Curb Adult Binge Drinking
A new study by Boston University and BMC researchers reveals that U.S. states with stronger alcohol policies have lower rates of youth overall drinking and binge drinking. The results further suggest that the link is largely a result of policies intended for adults.

Remembering David Seldin, 1957-2015

David Seldin, MD, PhD, Chief of the Section of Hematology-Oncology at BMC and BUSM, died Saturday, June 27, 2015, of prostate cancer at age 58. Dr. Seldin also served as a Professor of Medicine and Microbiology, and was the incumbent Wesley and Charlotte Skinner Professor for Research in Amyloidosis at BUSM.
